What it costs
Takeoff verification: $490 + GST per trade. We re-measure your quantities off the drawings, then flag each item as confirmed or out, with a dollar range on every unknown. You get a marked-up drawing set showing every measurement.
Tender pack: from $1,250 + GST for up to four trades: quantities, supplier pricing comparison, margin check and a risk and exclusions list.
Standard turnaround: 48 hours. Same day costs 25% more.
Bigger scopes: a fixed fee, quoted before we start. No hourly meter.

What we check
Quantities, measured two independent ways and reconciled against the printed dimensions.
Scale and sheet traps, for example an A1 drawing printed at A3 and measured as if it were full size.
Scope gaps between the drawings, the specification and the schedule.
Rates against actual NZ supplier buy prices, not list prices.
PC sums, provisional sums and exclusions: what's inside them and what's missing.
Contract exposure under NZS 3910 and NZS 3916, and payment claims under the Construction Contracts Act.
Recent work
A regional council tender: the drawings were A1 sheets supplied at A3. Quantities measured at face value were half-scale. We caught it before the price went in.
An Auckland electrical subcontractor: nine projects priced, about $1.75 million of work. 24 of 27 revision rounds went back the same day.
A civil drainage contractor: a pump-station tender checked line by line against the schedule of quantities before submission.
What we don't do
Bank drawdown reports that your lender requires to be signed by a Registered Quantity Surveyor. We'll tell you that before you pay anything, and point you to one.
Expert witness work. We're analysts, not expert witnesses.

Yes, anywhere in New Zealand. It all happens from the drawings, so there's no site visit.
